Connect2Women was created to build community by developing women's skills, confidence, and expanding their network. The conference offers dynamic presenters, professional development workshops, and networking opportunities celebrating professional women across Wyoming. Best of all, attendee feedback guides conference planning so you can be sure to enjoy the most dynamic, thought-provoking, and inspiring two days yet!

The fourth annual Connect 2 Women Conference will provide a powerful platform to celebrate advancement of women mentors and leaders. Featuring keynote women speakers from around the state that have succeeded in different industries and other extraordinary stories of success, attendees will engage in a variety of leadership training topics such as building and leading strong teams, navigating the multi-generational workforce, raising financially savvy kids, and complete activities that sharpen key principles of leadership. Plus, there will be key activities and communication tactics to bring back to your organization immediately!

When surveyed, 92% of last year’s attendees would definitely attend again.

Connect2Women welcomes Keynote Speaker Jennie Gordon, First Lady of Wyoming

Jennie (Muir) Gordon currently serves as First Lady of Wyoming. Prior to that, she managed day-to-day operations at Merlin Ranch, the Gordon family’s cow-calf and heifer development operation located in Johnson County.

Jennie grew up in Omaha, Nebraska until her family moved to Buffalo, Wyoming. Jennie’s father, Senior Master Sergeant Robert Muir, served in the Navy, Army and the Air Force. Jennie’s mother, Gertrude Muir, was from Austria and after surviving World War II in Vienna, she moved to the United States. She learned English and raised the family’s ten children, often with Sergeant Muir serving away from home. Four of Jennie’s siblings have served, or continue to serve, in the armed services.
